Marjal campsite is one of the most modern and sought-after tourist resorts in the Spanish Mediterranean region. It is located in Guardamar del Segura, near to fragrant pine and eucalyptus groves that make up the natural park of Guardamar dunes, across which we can reach sandy beaches that stretch for over15 kilometres.
This coastal resort, which can house 700 people, both in log cabins or caravans, boasts 212 plots equipped with lots of amenities.
Its facilities include a restaurant, a bar, a club house, a supermarket, a doctor’s surgery, barbecues, playgrounds, a games arcade, a 1,000-square-metre lake pool, and the health and sports centre called Marjal Sport. This centre prides itself on an indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzis, saunas, as well as a physiotherapy service, muscle-building and cardiovascular fitness rooms, among others.
The Marjal campsite became the first Spanish campsite to be awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate. Afterwards, following a policy on environmental sustainability actively promoted by Grupo Marjal, it was certified as meeting the ISO 14000. Due to the commitment and dedication shown to customers by offering first-class services, it also boasts the Q award for Quality in Tourism.
